Origin
An old time cocktail classic, Blue Curaçao is known for its deep blue colour, tart orange flavour and tropical credentials.
Flavoured with the dry peel of the green oranges, which are descended from Valencia oranges, from the West Indian Island of Curaçao, this liqueur embodies this tropical island paradise with its beaches and coral reefs. Discovered by accident, the drink was originally marketed by a Spanish family from Curacao in the 19th century.
The amazing deep blue of MONIN Blue Curaçao syrup evokes the sea lapping the beautiful Curacao beaches and adds an exotic touch to cocktails and sodas with its aromatic orange peel scent and candy bitter taste.
Based on the popular, classic confectionery and well-known liqueur, MONIN Butterscotch syrup was originally developed to satisfy demand in Australia. A nostalgic taste of a traditional sweetmeat, MONIN Butterscotch delivers a moreish sweet buttery flavour.
Butterscotch’s primary blend of butter and brown sugar is sometimes combined with cream, sugar, salt and vanilla and is often used in the form of a sauce or syrup as a dessert topping and in biscuits and cakes.
Its name derives from the fact that it must be ‘scotched’ or cut into squares before hardening. First made in Doncaster in the UK, Parkinson’s Butterscotch is thought to be the original, dating back to 1817. It was advertised as “Royal Doncaster Butterscotch” and “The Queen’s Sweetmeat”, as it is by appointment to the Royal household.
Perfect as a dreamy ice cream sundae topping, MONIN Butterscotch syrup will also create sumptuous hot and cold dessert drinks

While its origin might be the accidental drop of chocolate chunks that never melted in a plain cookie dough, the worldwide success of chocolate cookie is not due to chance. This delicious biscuit, created in the 1930’s in the United States, has gained a reputation of being a profit earner for cafés and coffee shops, and can be found nowadays everywhere. MONIN Chocolate Cookie syrup has the perfect biscuit taste that will add a gourmet touch to your drinks. It is the ultimate flavour to realize the most mouth-watering dessert drinks and extend you drink offer to the world of delicacies.

The nut from the coconut palm tree, the coconut is native to more than 80 tropical and sub-tropical countries such as Indonesia, India and Thailand, where it is considered indispensable. In fact, in several different languages the name for the coconut palm means that all parts of the tree are useful in some way.
An extremely versatile flavour, its intense, sweet flavour goes well with sweet, bitter and salty flavours. As well as having many culinary uses, coconut is used in beauty products because coconut oil is an excellent moisturiser.
Enjoy a taste of the tropics by adding MONIN Coconut syrup to cocktails, coffees, smoothies and fruit punches and drift away to the shade of a coconut palm…

The tart flavour of cranberry is the base for many classic cocktails such as the ‘Cosmopolitan’ and the ‘Americano’.
The fruit of a low shrub or trailing vine, the cranberry favours acidic, boggy soil and cooler climates. Native Americans were the first to eat cranberries, so-called because the flower resembles the neck, head and bill of a crane. The USA and Canada are now the main cranberry producers.
Famed for their acidic, sweet flavour and pretty colour, cranberries are harvested in late Autumn. They have become a festive flavour associated with Thanksgiving and Christmas , when cranberry sauce is traditionally eaten as an accompaniment to roast turkey. Around 95% of cranberries are made into juice, sauce or sweetened dried cranberries.
MONIN Cranberry syrup delivers the vibrant red of the berry and the perfect balance of tart and sweet for creating vibrant, taste bud-tingling cocktails, sodas, teas and martinis

One of the best-selling flavours in Germany because of the popularity of the Hugo cocktail, MONIN Elder flower Syrup delivers the fragrant aroma and tart, juicy flavour of these creamy-white flowers.
Often consumed as a cordial or a liqueur, both are crafted from the flowers of the Elder or Elderberry tree, commonly found in the English countryside. The English saying goes that summer is not here until the Elder is fully in flower and that it is at an end when the berries are ripe.
Simply add MONIN Elder flower to champagne, mix in a white spirit based cocktail or with fruit juices for aromatic, summery refreshers.
ColourLight gold.
Tasting notesStrong floral smell with honey notes; distinctive, tart and juicy taste.
Beverage Innovation Directors tipsThe fragrant flowers of the elder tree make this MONIN flavour unique and elegant. It can be used to make refreshing summer drinks. Try to combine it with cranberry juice and you will have an exciting summer refresher.
